Welcome to our new class blog!!
We have had a great start to pre-school and the children are doing wonderful. They are working hard at doing their job and following the rules of the classroom. Anne and I are enjoying getting to know and love each one of their personalities.
We have started focusing on a letter of the week. In doing this we are also incorporating a whole language approach so that children are still learning about all letters and words however we want to make sure they know how to write each letter (upper and lower case) and know the sound(s) the letter makes. We believe this will in turn make them better readers and writers to prepare them for Kindergarten.
